I've been thinking...

Hubs has always encouraged me to get my own bike (he said once I tried it, I would never go back to being a rider again) but I've always been quite content riding on the back of his - that way I can gawk at where we're going and where we've been without getting in too much trouble!
I never really had a burning desire to get my own bike till I saw the latest from Harley Davidson - it's called the Cross Bones and it's totally wicked and totally old school. I dig old school...

I'm gonna hafta chew on this one for awhile. It's tempting -

Hello. I'm also a content rider. However, I married someone who isn't a rider at all. Therefore, I'm a content has been rider. Depressing. But I have dreams of having my own now. Hope you get one too. Even though I prefer and Indian. Take care

Hmmmm, that is something to ponder! My Dad bought his Harley a few years ago when HD was celebrating their 100th anniversary. My Mom rides on the back! lol! My parents are both 70 this year!

I heard they were making Indians again - I always loved the old school look of them too and was quite shocked when they stopped production a few years back.
But I think about getting in a jam and I'm telling ya, there's just no beating the service from HD.
Suzanne, I think that is so awesome!! I see so many lady bikers that are in their Prime and you know what? Every single one of them have an almost euphoric look on their face!
It really is better and more effective than any pill the doctor wants to dole out :)

Wow Cookie ... that is SO AWESOME!!! I've always said, "no way, nu uh ... NOT EVER will I ride on a motorcycle!!!" They SCARE me to death. BUT ... my DH's Aunt & Uncle have a pair of Harleys. They love to ride ... I NEVER would have thought the two of them would dig that. They love it. I see how happy they are when they're riding. I would LOVE to try it. Maybe someday when the kids are grown we'll give it a try. :) I saw the most gnarly HD at the ice cream shop last summer. Made both DH and I want one!!! It was air brushed ... and just AWESOME!!!

xoxo and ENJOY the warm weather ... send some to MI, will ya?!

Ohhh Cookie.
DO IT... DO IT... DO IT!!!!! awww just close your eyes and feel that wind...that power...that exciting raw fear....My husband showed me the beautiful new bike...it is beautiful BECAUSE it "is" designed & celebrating "old school". I knew I loved you for a reason that went beyond doll making, but for dreaming & risk taking! My Pastors wife always says "To have something that powerful between your legs" is a gift from God.... Im just sayin! I cant wait for the final decision. ya only live once Cookie girl! Hugs, Kat

Yep, I can see you ridin' your own bike...but please no day dreamin'. lol I've been thinking about what it would be like to ride my own...is there a bike small enough that my legs would be able to touch the ground? Hmmm. For now I think I will be content riding on the back. I never really paid attention to the crossbones..I love it! You know me, anything retro and I am a happy camper!

WOW!! What a beautiful bike...it's definitely something to think about. I'm with you..I would rather check out the sites than be the one that has to pay attention to where we're going and how to get there. Tempting though, isn't it? :-) chew. chew. chew. Hugs- Susan
